As we head into week 13, Russell Wilson of the Denver Broncos has compiled 42,782 yards passing in his career putting him 218 from reaching the 43,000 mark. Wilson ranks 18th in the Super Bowl Era leaderboard for team passing yards, well behind the leaders Tom Brady (89,214), Drew Brees (80,358) and Peyton Manning (71,940). But he is also 258 uards short of reaching Dan Fouts’s 43,040 for the17th spot.
This year, Wilson is at 21st among passing yards with 2,199. Wilson comes in in off a 29-12 win to the Cleveland Browns. The star quarterback compiled 134 yards passing.
Wilson will now lead his Broncos into battle against the Houston Texans on Sunday in a road test. The Texans are in 2nd in the AFC South. The surging Broncos are 6-5 and are 2nd in the AFC West with a sudden eye on the playoffs. They roll in having won their last five.
