Matthew Stafford One Sack Away From Top 10 In Super Bowl Era

Heading into week two of the 2024 NFL season, Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams is closing on a Top 10 statistical category. The Ram slinger has been sacked 476 times during his career which puts him just one sack away from reaching Phil Simms’s 477 for 10th place on the list of most times sacked in the Super Bowl Era. The leaderboard looks like Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger followed by Aaron Rodgers.

This past weekend, Stafford was sacked twice in a tough OT loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.

This upcoming Sunday, the 36-year-old Stafford and his Rams travel to face the Arizona Cardinals who also lost in week1.
