Taysom Hill First Man To Do This In 14 Years

Mr. do-it-all Taysom Hill had a monster Sunday in leading his New Orleans Saints to a big win over the Seattle Seahawks 39-32.

Hill finished the game with 112 rushing yards, 3 rushing TDs and 1 passing TD, a feat not accomplished in the NFL in 14 years.

“I think statistically it’s probably my best game I’ve ever had in the NFL,” Hill said.

“I feel like each week is a little bit different. Jameis (Winston) is a little banged up, so that limited me in terms of what the plan was supposed to be at the start of the season. I think every week I go in and prepare for what I am being asked to do. It is a fluid deal. I anticipate that at least for the rest of this season.”

Who else has done that? Only two other players: Ronnie Brown in 2008 for the Miami Dolphins and Ladainian Tomlinson in 2005 for the San Diego Chargers. All three players who have done it won their games, and all three did it in the first three weeks of the season.
