With the news that the Kansas City Chiefs an the Los Angeles Chargers will play their opener on Sao Paula, Brazil, the NFL has finalized the 2025 international series schedule.
All told, there will be seven regular season games played outside of the U.S. with games in England (3), Ireland, Brazil, Germany and Spain.
Americans fans and the players can’t be thrilled with taking their product overseas, but for the league, owners and international fans, it’s a big win as the NFL continues to try to grow its footprint globally.
And these games serve as a gauge or test-run for perhaps a future franchise in some of the these cities, maybe 10-15 years from now.
