The NFL released it’s COVID-19 policy yesterday. While there is no strict mandate, here’s what you need to know:
* TESTING
– Vaccinated: Once/week
– Unvaccinated: every day (missed test leads to ban from facility until 5 straight days of negative tests)
* MASKS
– Unvaccinated: Must be worn in in close proximity; and inactive players must were masks on sidelines
* QUARATINE (positive test)
– Unvaccinated: 10-day quarantine
– Vaccinated: Can return to the field if asymptomatic for 48 hours and had 2 negative PCR tests 24 hours apart
* QUARATINE (close contact)
– Unvaccinated: Must quarantine for 5 days if in close contact to a positive case
* TRAVEL
– Unvaccinated: Cannot leave player hotel while on the road (no restaurants, events, taxis, etc.)
