Dak Prescott Approaching 35,000 Career Passing Yards

Entering Week 14, Dak Prescott is approaching another major milestone in his Dallas Cowboys career. The star quarterback has thrown for 34,698 passing yards, leaving him just 302 yards shy of reaching the 35,000-yard mark. Prescott already stands atop the Cowboys’ Super Bowl Era passing leaderboard, ahead of franchise greats Tony Romo and Troy Aikman, who rank second and third respectively.

Prescott has been one of the league’s most productive passers in 2025. He currently sits 2nd in the NFL with 3,261 passing yards, and he enters the week coming off a strong performance — 320 yards through the air in a 31–28 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

He’ll have another opportunity to add to his total under the national spotlight on Thursday night, when the 6–5 Cowboys travel to face the Detroit Lions, who sit third in the NFC North. Dallas arrives riding a three-game winning streak and looking to bolster its position in the tight NFC East race.

2. Tony Romo 34,183
