Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets is on the brink of another milestone. The star QB is just two TD passes shy of 500 for his career. If and when he does, the 41-year-old Rodgers will become just the fifth QB in the Super Bowl era to reach 500 career touchdown passes.
That category is led by Tom Brady (649), Drew Brees (571), and then Peyton Manning (539).
So far this season, Rodgers ranks 7th among players in terms of passing TDs with 23. Rodgers comes into the week off a comeback 32-25 win to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rodgers tallied three passing touchdowns in the win thanks to a big day from Devonte Adams.
Rodgers takes the Jets against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at their home. The Rams are in 1st in the NFC West. The Jets are 4-10 and are 3rd in the AFC East.
