NFL Doesn’t Want To Move Games Due To COVID

Last year, the NFL schedule would routinely get jumbled up due to COVID positive players.

Games would move from Sunday to Tuesday or even Wednesday to avoid a forfeit.

That’s not happening this year. Teams can and will be forfeited if a postponement cannot be rescheduled.

“As we learned last year, we can play a full season if we maintain a firm commitment to adhering to our health and safety protocols and to making needed adjustments in response to changing conditions,” Goodell said.

“These operating principles are designed to allow us to play a full season in a safe and responsible way and address possible competitive or financial issues fairly.”

In the memo, it was stated that more than 75% of players are in the process of being vaccinated. Also, more than half the teams in the league have vaccination rates greater than 80% of their players.

Goodell is clearly telling teams, enough is enough. Get your players vaccinated or risk forfeits.
