Tony Pollard had himself a Sunday. Yesterday, Pollard led his Dallas Cowboys to a resounding 40-3 win over the Minnesota Vikings with an historic day for his team.
Pollard finished with 80 rushing yards, 109 receiving yards and 2 touchdown catches. That’s the first time any Cowboy in the Super Bowl era has reached 75+ rush yards, 100+ receiving yards and 2+ TD catches in a single game.
Pollard also becomes just the 10th player in the Super Bowl era to accomplish the feat, and just the fifth in the last 40 years. He’s the first to do it since Todd Gurley almost five years ago in December of 2017.
