Of course the Jags and the Vikings won their divisions.
At least one team has won its division the season after finishing in or tied for last place in 18 of the past 20 seasons.
Per the NFL, since 1990, at least four teams every season have qualified for the playoffs after failing to make the postseason the year before. Additionally, at least two teams have won their divisions the season after missing the playoffs in 19 of the past 20 years, including 2022.
Winners in the Wild Card round have won the Super Bowl 11 times, including in each of the past two seasons.
