Kirk Cousins is closing in on a significant career milestone. The Atlanta Falcons quarterback has thrown 296 touchdown passes in his NFL career, leaving him just four scores shy of reaching the 300-touchdown mark. Cousins currently ranks 14th all-time in passing touchdowns in the Super Bowl Era, with only one active passer — Aaron Rodgers — ahead of him in the top five. The all-time leaders remain Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning.
The 37-year-old Cousins’ 2025 season saw him with limited play, after No. 1 QB Michael Penix was shut down due to injury. Still, he showed flashes of his veteran efficiency in his most recent outing, throwing two touchdown passes in a 26–19 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
Cousins will have his next opportunity to inch closer to history on Monday night, when the Falcons host the Los Angeles Rams, who sit second in the NFC West. Atlanta enters the matchup 6–9, currently third in the NFC South, and riding a two-game winning streak. With momentum building and a national audience watching, Cousins will look to add another chapter to his long and productive career.
