Davante Adams is closing in on a historic milestone that underscores his consistency and longevity as one of the premier receivers of his generation. As the Los Angeles Rams enter Week 10, Adams sits at 993 career receptions, leaving him just seven catches shy of the 1,000 mark — a milestone only 17 players have reached in the Super Bowl era.
Adams currently ranks 19th all-time in receptions, just one behind DeAndre Hopkins (994). The all-time list is headlined by Hall of Famer Jerry Rice (1,549), followed by Larry Fitzgerald (1,432) and Steve Smith (1,407) — elite company for a player still performing at a high level more than a decade into his career.
This season, Adams ranks 28th in the league with 36 receptions, continuing to serve as a key piece in the Rams’ offensive arsenal. In last week’s 35–7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, he hauled in five catches, helping Los Angeles extend its winning streak to three.
Now, the 6–2 Rams, first in the NFC West, will hit the road for a divisional test against the San Francisco 49ers, currently sitting third in the division. Adams will look to help the Rams keep pace atop the conference — and add another milestone to his resume along the way.
