With the news that the Kansas City Chiefs an the Los Angeles Chargers will play their opener on Sao Paula, Brazil, the NFL has finalized the 2025 international series schedule.<\/p>\n
All told, there will be seven regular season games played outside of the U.S. with games in England (3), Ireland, Brazil, Germany and Spain.<\/p>\n
Americans fans and the players can’t be thrilled with taking their product overseas, but for the league, owners and international fans, it’s a big win as the NFL continues to try to grow its footprint globally.<\/p>\n
And these games serve as a gauge or test-run for perhaps a future franchise in some of the these cities, maybe 10-15 years from now.<\/p>\n
